About Iuventa:

Iuventa through a form of godess is the symbol of the joy, the force, and the youth. The latin expression also refer to this, literally: The Bridge of the Youth. The bridge in this sense is some kind of bond between man and man. The goal of our foundation is to build this invisible bridge for the members of the new generation helping that they might build better future together for themselves and for their surroundings.

Aims:

The Pontus Iuventae Foundation was established by zealous university students using their experiences gained on the field of the youth life, in order to create an organisation that can be able to form the youth community.

For applying for a scholarship privately is often complicated and problematical, and most of all not always successful, we would like to give a chance for everybody to enlarge his/her perspective and to know a wider view about several countries in Europe, about their habitants and cultures. All these with the less self-sources possible.

Our Philosophy:

• Our principal aim is to integrate the hungarian youngs living either in Hungary or in the neighbouring countries into the international youth life.
• Our task is to help the communication among the youngs, speaking either about actual problems of nowdays, about culture, art or simply about science of living the life.
• We consider important to be open minded and to think in community on every level of the society. Our organisations has no attachement to any etnical, political association or religious affiliation.
• Anyone can be member of the Foundation, independently of his or her origin.
• Our basic values: tolerance, peace, love of the Patrie, and the respect of universal human values.

Organising conferences:

The topics of the conferences are related to the young for instance: finding a job, equal rights, globalisation, environmental protection, culture man and society and so on..

Institute Exchange Programmes:

In respect of variegation we put the stress on the connection of different cultures. To reach this goal we organise youth exchange programmes with those several youth associations that we keep in touch with. Each programme deals with one special topic and held in a European Union country.

International Youth Life:

Our Foundation will represent Hungary ina s many conferences as possible.

Voluntaries:

We take part in buliding up the European voluntary system in connection with it we make it possible for our members to work as a volunteer abroad for a while.

Youth Initiatives:

We support any kind of idea sor initiatives with our experience (organising and applying for funds) that is not against to our aims and we is able to be carried out.
